A review of Konnects

Features: Konnects is a business social networking site where users can create profiles, connect with other users, find jobs, communicate in groups, post classifieds, and post events. There is a premier service that costs under $25 per year.
Konnects is broken down into communities where you can join and connect with people in the same field. On these community pages you can post articles and share information with other community members.
Review: I like the way Konnects is set up with the various communities. The groups on the site itself (not in the communities) have very little new posts. In the handful of groups I checked out most posts were weeks old and a high percentage of them could be considered spam.
Within the communities I looked at there was more activity and some of it was fairly recent but none of it was overwhelmingly impressive.
The site has a smoother look and feel than that of Xing or Ecademy but I wouldn’t use Konnects over LinkedIn. While according to most metrics the site does very well traffic wise but I couldn’t see the activity that would back these numbers up. So that begs the question where are people going when they sign into the site and who are these people?
