Site: Buzznet

Members: ???

Features: Buzznet is everything that Music Hawk wants to be but isn’t. There is a ton of user generated content around bands. Users can upload video, photos, and blog posts about their favorite groups. The community it really active and the information for the most part it is up to date.

The blog section is something to behold with a lot of user generated content people can vote up posts and comment on them. There is an amazing amount of activity around it.

Buzznet does not currently have a music service attached to it. On artist pages they have videos from Youtube set and ready to go.

Review: If this had a music discovery service this would be an amazing music site.

The layout is clean and the community is amazing. I really dived into the content and was lost for about an hour reading interesting posts and seeing a whole collection of old school concert posters uploaded by some members for various bands that I enjoy. I really liked the new section and dove into this site to find some updates about my favorite artists.

Probably my favorite music site that doesn’t actually play music.
