Features: Commongate allows users to set up and design a profile with complete html and CSS control. You can great gates that are much like Squidoo lenses where they items are focused on specific content. Users can become followers of the gate and also comment on and contribute content within this gate. These gates can be edited via CSS.
Review: I like the design and interface of Commongate it is much easier to get around and has a much smoother design than most social media sites that I have seen recently. Personally I like that they open up the gates and your profiles to CSS, which rewards the ability of knowledgeable people to really create memorable pages.
The traffic for the site seems to be in a decline according to various web metrics with a peak in the spring of this year.
