I just got a message on hoverspot, when I answered the window had come up with some symantic page notifing me that an attempt had been made to change my home page.

dina, i have the same issue random chicks messaging me sayin things like kewl are those new pics and hey whats up and do you still come around here and i did like u did and sent a confused message back and id get the same exact message she sent me in the first place at first i thought its spam but there profiles look legit so its weird and they dont try and direct me to any websites i think there just tryin to confuse ppl

I believe all the “secrecy” and confusion behind Hoverspot is a simple one .Through personal experience , It appears to be a “front” for adult “entertainment” services. That would explain all the e-mails from women responding to messages I never sent or claiming that I did . Their persistance by themselves and their “friends” to contact me was extremely annoying (up to 20 e-mails a day)Although account deletion is not that difficult , they make it a pain in the butt to accomplish just that. My advice : Don’t waste your time , you’ll regret it . There are plenty of more sensible alternatives out there .

Well I’m not sure if that’s the type of email I got from them. I got an invitation ages ago from a friend who was active there. (Maybe like 2 years ago)

Only recently I went to the site again cause of an email I got in my inbox notifying me of a message I have received. I notice my friend is no longer there, probably cause of everything you guys have said.

The annoying thing I have experienced is getting random girls messaging me like, what’s up and how’s it going, and I responded really confused why girls would message me like that and then the response is exactly them same or a similar phrase, so how’s it going? and after asking why they are acting like this, it’s all the same!!!

idk if there’s a catch or some reason they do that, I even emailed the help team and told them about this nuisance but they didn’t respond. I will delete my account though. Absolutely pointless site. Confusing and hideous design.

Steve… I had an account and deleted it myself no problem in the account settings. I also used the address book thing and had no problems. I just unchecked the people I didn’t want to send it to. Maybe you didn’t read the page? I actually had another one of my emails on my contacts that I invited and only got 2 invites. I liked the site but just didn’t have the time for it.
