Features: Hyves has a massive number of features. Through the drop down boxes on the site there are a number of options for their various main topics. The features are broken down between friends, hyves, schools, photos, videos, music, and widgets. Hyves are places where users can share photos, videos, message each other, share calendars, and connect with people that share your same interests.
Review: Hyves is a pretty feature rich site that has an active user base. I can’t say that I like the design of the site or how it functions though. It is a pretty ugly looking site.
Also the way the features are divided up there are just too many options in the drop boxes. On one menu there are close to twenty items in a drop down box, it is just too much. They really need to rethink the navigation structure of the site.

Well…massive amount of features but a very childish audience…
Hyves mainly has members from the Netherlands (where I’m from). I have been a member for 3 years, but recently canceled my account. Facebook is much much better: faster, more members, and many more features!
