Features: Imeem is a social network based around music. They have a profile, friending, and messaging system that you would expect on most sites. There is also a player where you can favorite, comment, and search through music. Imeem has some great content created by the artists that are on individual artist pages ranging from exclusive video to photos.
Users are allowed to create playlists, share music, and use a basic music discovery service. (You can also download songs through the service by using Amazon or iTunes.)
Review: Imeem has built a massive and popular following. Although my musical service of choice has been Pandora for the longest time I quickly became engrossed in Imeem because of the special content. (Although a lot of the pages weren’t updated…. mostly tour date information.)
The site has a lot of features that I like built around sharing a song and the content on the site which is something a lot of music sites have not done well. I can see why the site is popular and I will probably continue to explore it a little more on a personal level.

Imeem.com is a good social networking site but there are similar sites such as Playlist.com.
