MOG Review
Site: MOG

Members: ???
Features: MOG is a music discover service that is built around a community of contributors. The site allows users to post reviews of albums, concerts, and bands then other members can comment the posts and “trust” the MOG contributer and their taste in music. Users can built lists, follow other MOGs, and discover music through a variety of ways.
Unfortunately the site only allows full music playback through Rhapsody.
Review: MOG has a vibe that the people involved are really indie and they have a lot of street cred. It is kind of intimidating to move around on there. I feel like I am in a snobby record store where are clerk could insult me for musical taste that they might not agree with. And you know what? I like that. On a lot of music sites there are music “artists” that are frankly being marketed to me and are just downright horrible. MOG has a wider array and creates a venue where you truly can discover new music. Sadly the playback issue is a little annoying. After 25 listens of a song through the Rhapsody service you will only get 30 second snippets if you don’t have an account through them.
