Review of Takkle

Features: Takkle is an CNNSI partner site that is a social network for high school athletes, coaches, and recruiters. Athletes are able to post their stats, post videos, participate in groups, and communicate amongst each other. There are also athlete rankings, voting for videos and photos.
Review: Takkle obviously has some money behind it. The layout is slick and functional. Also I think they are tackling a space that is emerging and starting to become competitive. Sites centered around athletes looking to be recruited have been popping up. With the ease of home video production and the ability to upload it to the internet I can see this area continue to expand for the next few years.
One question I have with all of this is how many coaches and recruiters are embracing this social technology? Will younger coaches and graduate assistants usher this technology and expose older staff members to it?
