Features: Goodreads allows you to share books that you are reading with friends, rate, recommend, and comment various books. You are able to see what your friends are reading and what they recommend along with random reviews of other readers. You can search the site by author and title.
The site offers a standard social networking feature that allows you to import friends via e-mail, Facebook, and other social media sites. There are active groups on here that cover almost every niche and random topic available and they act as a strong lifeblood for the site and the traffic.
Review: Goodreads is a standard recommendation/knowledge share site that is cleanly laid out. There are no advanced features that set this site apart from any other site that deals with ratings. It is simple, easy to use, and has a vibrant community, you really can’t ask for anything more than that in a social network.
