Site Review of LogoPond

Site: LogoPond

Members: 15939

Features: On LogoPond users can upload logos that they have created and share them amongst the community. Users can comment on the logo upload and give feedback. Users can skim through a gallery of close to 35,000 logos and get inspiration of various types of design work.

The site also includes an active forum where people talk about design, general topics, and get critiques. On the social networking profile side you have a basic profile to fill out, favorite people you want to follow, and comment on their work.  On the profiles you have the ability to put in your Google Adsense information and PayPal information, although because there is no clear instructions or FAQ I am not sure what that is about.

Review: The site is really slow to load as you surf through it. Also the ads on the site are constantly being jammed down your throat. In general I think the site could clean up nice with a little bit more of a logical design but the ads and slow loading pages kill the overall experience.

The quality of the content submitted is solid and the community is active so they are doing something right. I just don’t feel that the site runs as good as some of the art sites that I have examined so far.

  1. I think logopond is an excellent logo design site but I do agree with you that an faq page would really help as there are a few things I am not certain about with how it all works.
