Spoke.com Review

Site: Spoke

spokesub

Members: Over 30 Million

Features: Spoke is a business site where you can connect to people via their search function. It is more of a research sales tool than a social network. You can fill out a profile, connect to other members (think hub and spoke model), and use the spoke toolbar to get information on businesses and contacts. (Only if you use IE and Outlook.)

You can only message three people per month unless you upgrade to a better membership.

Review: Spoke has a good look for a business social network. I am surprised with the amount of traffic that they get that they are just using Adsense and don’t have direct ad deals in place. Anyway… that isn’t important.

I don’t get the, “I am going to be spammed until the end of time if I join this social network” vibe with this site. I can see it as a great tool to generate contacts and find out who to talk to at a business. Personally though it isn’t a site I would invest a lot of time on.
