Site: TalentDatabase

Members: Over 15,000

Features: Talent Database boasts itself as being a yellow pages for talented people. When you sign up to the site you can place your profile into multiple channels including comedy, design, gaming, and numerous others. Users have a profile section that includes a bio, portfolio, acknowledgements, bookmarks, and snapshots.

There is a talent directory where people are rated by “pop factor”. Other directories include industry professionals and companies that may be looking for talent.

Reviews: Well if you want a site to see a ton of pinup models and some subpar comedians this might be it. The site is designed well so the execution is pretty good but the actual concept behind the site is something I don’t understand.

There are already niche sites around models, art, and other industries. Jamming them together on one site doesn’t seem like a winning formula because most of the niche sites have a stronger feature set. For example art sites and portfolio sites for artists have a much stronger feature set around that niche than anything TalentDatabase provides.
