If you did log into the service, they captured your username and password. They may have been suspended by twitter but unless you change the password you gave them, they use your account to follow people. I went on to their site a day or two ago. Logged in to my twitter account this AM only to find I was following 400 more people (only 10 of whom were following back) then before. The only other outside twitter app I have ever used is wefollow who has had api access to my account for 2 months with no problem. SOOOO, they clearly automate some sort of code to follow people with your information captured on the form.

CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD right away if you logged onto the site. Good bless, happy twittering and keep twitter awesome by exposing these scams.

Kevin,

Again right on the money! I don't know what angers me more:

1. Clowns that affiliate market rip off schemes who tout their numbers with nothing but self promotion in mind
2. Clowns who tout themselves as social media experts who just left the crumbling mortgage industry
3. Clowns who tout themselves as social media experts yet they don't blog (or do it well, they just entered facebook and twitter yet they are holding $300 workshops to teach others "the secrets" of social media.

Take your pick they are every where!

Chris, you have it exactly right. Any other strategy is short term focused.
